Description
The Centre for Renewable Energy Sources (CRES) is a public entity under the auspices of the Ministry of Development but functions under private law. According to the new energy law, CRES is the national co-ordinator of all Regional Agencies in Greece. Over the years, CRES has participated in more than 500 European and national projects. In carrying out these projects, CRES has co-operated with a large number of public and private organizations, on a national as well as on a European and international level. These include R&D projects, demonstration projects, projects dealing with energy information systems, feasibility, technical and economic studies, market research, as well as promotional activities for the use of RES and RUE.
