Organisation - partnership

Commitment and co-operation from individual organizations, as well as stakeholders at the EU level, is key to the success of the Soltherm Europe Initiative and will increase the sales of solar collectors to the end-user.
If you are not actively involved in the Soltherm Europe Initiative, we invite you to find out more below on becoming a Soltherm Industry Partner or Soltherm Associate Partner. If the Partnership Packages given there leaves you with questions, you may also use the information request form.
Partnership within the Soltherm Europe Initiative comprises the following four categories:

-

Stakeholders at EU level
Important stakeholders at EU level are:
- The European Commission
- The European Solar Thermal Industry Federation (ESTIF)
- The goals and tasks also suit well with those of the International Energy Agency Solar Heating and Cooling Program.

- Altener partners
The Soltherm Europe Initiative was initiated and is coordinated by Ecofys in the Netherlands. In the right-hand column, the partners in the ongoing Altener project for building up Soltherm Europe are listed.
-

Associate Partners
Industry Partners (including installers organisations) will play a key role in all aspects related to quality and technology. Their input and participation is also needed in the information campaigns. Other Associate Partners are organisations with goals that are in line with the Soltherm Europe Initiative, such as national energy agencies, NGO’s, local authorities, etc. Mainly information and financial, but also legal aspects (e.g. building permits) of The Soltherm Europe Initiative will need to be tuned with their plans and activities.

-

Soltherm Campaigns
Soltherm invites all ongoing and planned campaigns to co-operate, and thus to take part in the publicity exchange of experience between the Soltherm partners. In the framework of the EU Altener project a number of campaigns is being developed, but co-operation with other campaigns is important so that synergy may be maximised.
