- May 2005: An update of the Soltherm Europe European Market Analysis Report has been released. This report contains an annex with a summary of the main developments since 2003. Check the 'Reports and Guidelines' pages to download the update.
- November 2004: The EU Altener project supporting Soltherm Europe until now,
has ended. We have compiled the results into a Brochure summarising the achievements
and lessons learned, and a Catalogue highlighting a number of campaigns. The documents
have been distributed to all subscribers as newsletter, but you can also download
them here:

- November 2004: The International Energy
Agency’s Solar Heating and Cooling Programme and major solar thermal trade associations
publish new statistics on the use of solar thermal
energy. The new data – expressed for the first time in GWth, rather than in
square meters of installed collector area – shows the global installed capacity
to be 70 GWth (70.000 MWth).
- September 2004: A new European research
network 'New Generation of Solar Thermal systems (NEGST)' has started. Read more

- April 2004: Soltherm Europe was presented at the large German
conference RegioSolar 2004.
- January
2004: Soltherm Europe received the European 'Campaign for Take Off Award' in
the category Promotion. The ceremony took place at the European Conference
for Renewable Energy in Berlin, organised by the European Commission. A press
